Reservations

Booking and Vehicle Availability

How can I make a reservation?

Reservations can be made online, by telephone, through WhatsApp, at our Leeward Highway main branch or directly with our team at Providenciales International Airport.

Can I reserve a vehicle after arriving at the airport?

Yes. Our team operates from the Providenciales International Airport car park and may assist with same-day reservations, subject to vehicle availability.

Is advance booking required?

Advance booking is strongly recommended, especially between 18 December and 30 April and during other busy travel periods. A vehicle is not guaranteed until the reservation is confirmed.

What vehicle types are available?

The fleet includes compact cars, sedans, SUVs, specialty vehicles and larger passenger vehicles. Availability depends on the selected dates and location.

Collection and Return

Pickup and Return Locations

Where can I collect my rental vehicle?

Vehicle collection is available at Providenciales International Airport and our main branch on Leeward Highway. Selected hotel delivery may also be arranged in advance.

Is airport pickup available for every rental?

Airport pickup can be arranged for confirmed rentals. Our team will provide the collection location and instructions before arrival.

Can I return the vehicle at a different location?

Returns may be accepted at the airport, main branch or another safe pre-approved location in Providenciales. The return location must be confirmed with the team in advance.

How does an airport return work?

The team will provide the approved parking location and secure return instructions before departure. Follow those instructions exactly and contact the team if your return arrangements change.

Charges and Payments

Payment, Deposit and Tax

Is a security deposit required?

Yes. A refundable security deposit of US$500 is required before the vehicle is released.

When is the security deposit refunded?

The deposit is refundable after the vehicle has been returned and checked, provided there are no outstanding charges, damage, missing items, fuel costs, traffic-related expenses or rental agreement breaches.

Is the security deposit the same as insurance?

No. The security deposit is separate from the required third-party liability charge, optional CDW fees, the US$1,500 CDW deductible, rental charges and any other amount the renter may owe.

What tax applies to the rental?

A 12% Vehicle Hire Stamp Duty applies to applicable vehicle-rental charges and is shown separately where required in the reservation or final rental total.

Protection

Third-Party Liability and CDW

Protection at a glance

Required third-party liability: US$15 per day for Cars/Sedans or US$20 per day for SUVs/Vans.

Optional CDW: US$9.95 per day for Cars/Sedans or US$14.95 per day for SUVs/Vans.

With valid CDW: qualifying collision damage remains subject to a US$1,500 deductible per incident.

Is third-party liability coverage required?

Yes. Required local third-party liability coverage is applied to every eligible rental. The charge is US$15 per day for Cars/Sedans and US$20 per day for SUVs/Vans. It covers qualifying legal liability for injury or damage caused to third parties, subject to the applicable policy terms, limits, conditions, exclusions and authorised-driver requirements.

Can I remove the required liability coverage if I have insurance at home?

No. Personal motor insurance, travel insurance or credit-card protection from another country does not automatically replace QCR’s required local third-party liability coverage. The required charge remains part of the eligible rental.

Does third-party liability cover damage to the QCR vehicle?

No. Third-party liability is not comprehensive vehicle-damage protection. The renter may remain responsible for loss of or damage to the QCR vehicle, including related charges, subject to the Rental Agreement and any valid CDW selected.

What is Collision Damage Waiver?

Collision Damage Waiver, or CDW, is an optional contractual waiver and is not insurance. When selected, paid for and valid under the Rental Agreement, it reduces the renter’s financial responsibility for qualifying collision damage to a US$1,500 deductible per incident.

How much does CDW cost?

Cars/Sedans: US$9.95 per day.

SUVs/Vans: US$14.95 per day.

What happens if I decline CDW?

By declining CDW, the renter accepts full vehicle-damage responsibility under the Rental Agreement and may be charged directly for loss of or damage to the rental vehicle and related costs.

Customers relying on personal, travel or credit-card protection are responsible for confirming their own coverage and seeking reimbursement directly from their provider.

Is the US$500 security deposit the same as the CDW deductible?

No. The refundable US$500 security deposit is separate from the US$1,500 CDW deductible, required third-party liability charges, optional CDW fees and any other valid amount due under the Rental Agreement.

Does CDW cover every type of damage?

No. CDW is limited and subject to the Rental Agreement. Exclusions include items such as glass, windows, mirrors, tyres, rims, keys, interior or underbody damage, engine or transmission damage, towing, recovery, storage, loss of use, negligence, prohibited use, unauthorised drivers and failure to report an incident promptly.

A material breach of the Rental Agreement may make CDW protection invalid.

What should I do after an accident or vehicle damage?

Stop safely, contact Quality Car Rental immediately and follow the team’s instructions. Do not admit liability, arrange unauthorised repairs or leave the scene when reporting is legally required. A police report may be required.

Rental Rules

Driver and Rental Requirements

What documents must the driver provide?

The renter must provide a valid driver’s licence and any identification, payment or supporting documents requested for the reservation.

Can another person drive the rental vehicle?

Only drivers approved and listed on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle. Additional drivers must satisfy the applicable licence and identification requirements.

What happens if I return the vehicle late?

The agreed return time is strict, with a 15-minute tolerance.

More than 15 minutes late may result in a US$50 late-return fee, plus 25% of the daily rental rate for each started late hour. A return more than four hours late may be charged as one additional rental day.

What happens if I leave personal belongings in the vehicle?

Quality Car Rental provides a lost-property service when items are found. Customers are normally responsible for any courier or postage costs required to return their belongings.

Can rental rules or charges change?

Yes. Vehicle availability, seasonal pricing, charges and operating procedures may change. The confirmed reservation and signed rental agreement take priority over general website information.
